I finally manage to come up with a backstory for the main character in my story. I mean, yeah, it still needs some details inserted, such as names and places, but the bare backbones are finally there. YAY for me figuring it out! I still think it's weird that more minor characters had more of a backstory than him until now though, but that's what happens when I try to plan something too.

What's nice about this too though is that it also ties into both the main plot of the story(once the characters figure it out), AND the history/geography stuff I was trying to figure out last week(which still needs work, admittedly). Having something like that for a story completely neaten itself out to this point just feels awesome.

Now I just have to get more parts of it written that i dont want to rewrite later for various reasons. Well, I also want to get a region map drawn of the area, along with filling in those remaining blanks on the history, but those are at least minor details.

I better go write down the plot now before I do what I did with my older griffin story, and forget the awesome solution I came up with. =/ At least I wrote down all my stuff from last week.

And on a completely unrelated note, I started playing Chrono Trigger DS again. I got it about a year ago, but never finished it due to a combination of being busy, and owning a PSX version(so I already knew how it ended and stuff. I just wanted a portable version w/o bad load times). Yea, the DS has extras, but the original was just so awesome that I honestly felt that it didn't NEED those extras, so those weren't tempting me as much as they could have.

So suffice it to say, I'm now farther in my Chrono Trigger DS file, and beat a couple more bosses. Oh, and go buy that game if you don't own some form of it, because it's one of my favorite games ever for a reason. It might be old, but it really IS good. Even Fummie agrees it's good!
